My thanks first to Francois Levy for the link via a twitter  he put up recently to this excellent presentation on BIM and how Vectorworks deals with it. Robert F Anderson, VP Integrated Practice to Nenetschek North America, gave this presentation to an audience, which was filmed and put up on a New site to me, called BIM Fusion Although the camera work is not great, the feel and information given in this presentation is first rate, again Vectorworks have showed just what BIM is all about, giving the AIA format of BIM Level, again a first for me, showing that BIM can be applied to all levels of drawing, from conceptual models to full blown models, at the same time giving an excellent display of the modeling capabilities of Vectorworks 2009 and some of the tools available to help build the model. Robert finishs of the presentation with a look at a cabinet program built within Vectorworks, not so interesting to me, but it just shows the power and flexibility of Vectorworks.

I can’t leave this piece without saying a little more on this site BIM Fusion, have a look at the side bar, and watch more videos its a true find and I will be visiting this site again when I have more time to view the collection, and there are quite a few.
