I found this site, some time back, and whilst browsing about I saw it in my bookmarks and went on a quick look that lasted most of the morning. 0300 TV is truly a fascinating site, that has Architecture at it core, its loaded with simple videos of building, like the one below of the AVE Fenix fire station, Colonia Juárez, Mexico City, Mexico. By BGP Architects. It shows the building in use, not as a fire station with fire engines rushing out, but the building surrounded by life, cars going past, the lots next door, then there are the internal shots, the camera just wonders about showing the finishes, finally the roof shot and the surrounding area. A great little move filmed in wide screen and HD, loaded up to Vimeo.
Try stopping the video and looking at the construction, try to work out how and why it was constructed, well worth a 1/2 hour CPD
AT 103 + BGP Architecture / ‘Ave Fenix’ Fire Station from 0300TV on Vimeo.
